Unpacking It with Lauren Pearl

In order to get organized, most of us have mental and emotional clutter that we first need to unpack. I wrote UNPACK IT The Pearl Process for Simplifying Your Posessions and Your Life about my 15 years as CEO of Pearl Concierge Services and my experiences in helping my clients to get unpacked and organized. When I told a friend about my book, she said “You’ve got to meet Karmen. She also wrote a book! You style closets and she styles clothes. I think you two have a lot to talk about!” And she was right. Karmen Berensten, Founder of A Line Boutique, helps women who “don’t have the time or know-how to build a wardrobe that suits their unique lifestyle, shape and sizing needs while remaining relevant, hip and age appropriate.” I love their ethos. I loved my telephone conversation with Karmen and accepted her invitation to be a guest on her podcast. I also accepted her offer to have one of her stylists style me for the podcast. Yay!

During the podcast, Karmen and I talked about closets, clothes and clutter. We talked about the clothes women purchase, the clothes they wear and the clothes they don’t wear. We unpacked a lot of experiences in our own lives, our careers and the lives of our clients.
