Home Sweet Home?

We’re all spending a lot more time at home these days thanks to COVID. Many of us were not at all accustomed to being home so much. Defiantly, many of us were not accustomed to working from home. For many of us, our home has become our 24/7 everything!

Are you feeling overwhelm, stress and anxiety? You’re not alone! Your “everything” may be the culprit! Often we don’t even realize how affected we are by our environment.

Recognizing how we are affected by our environment is an all important first step.

So, in our initial conversation and meeting, we talk about that with you.

Somewhere in our conversation, many of our clients look like a light bulb just turned on! “Ohhhhhhh! My house is making me tired, overwhelmed…crazy! That’s why I want to run and take a nap every time I even think about this ___________ (you fill in the name of the space.)

It’s normal. So many of us feel that way. But we’re each unique. There’s no “cookie cutter” problems or solutions. We get to know YOU and what you need & want from your space. Then we take it step by step…

• Conversation

• Find the Worst Place

• Start There

We pinpoint your WORST space…the one that makes you most want to run. And that’s where we start. Here are some of the things we may do…

• We put “like” things together.

• We de-clutter. Clutter causes fatigue eyes, brain and body.

• We re-arrange furniture

We work with you on your routines and habits. We see what’s working and what you’d like to change. We help you make decisions that work for you and your space. Time and time again we see that as our clients make decisions, their energy level goes up! And with increased energy, more decisions get made. Before you know it, with our assistance, you’re checking more and more things OFF your to-do list.

As decisions get made and things get a home…suddenly you reclaim the time you used to spend searching for things or buying duplicates because you didn’t remember you already had that.

Imagine gaining more space AND time! It’s true. Whether you’re looking to be a minimalist or you’re a sentimentalist with collections, there’s always a way to make it work. It’s compromise, it’s change, it’s new…and we’re here to help and guide and support you all the way through. We’re here to simplify your life.

Whether you’re moving cross country, feeling overwhelmed with clutter or trying to figure out how to make a home office… we simplify the process.

How?

How do we get there when you’d rather stick needles in your eyes than start facing things? “I’d rather stick needles in my eyes than go in that room.” A quote from one of my wonderful & overwhelmed clients.

Our work is the same if it’s one room or the entire house. Our work is facing it together.

A Clutter Addiction is similar in many ways to Addiction Disorders that are recognized medically as distinct mental health disorders. Cluttering is considered to a compulsive activity which is emotionally-driven and causes alterations of one's mood

Research shows disorganization and clutter have a cumulative effect on our brains. Our brains like order. Constant visual reminders of disorganization drain our cognitive resources and reduce our ability to focus. Clutter is visually distracting and overloads our brain. Our overloaded brains have less capacity to work. Cluttered room equals cluttered brain.

And a cluttered brain doesn’t feel good. It FEELS cluttered. It’s draining, tiring, exhausting and frustrating.

We are here to help. Our years of experience help us to gauge the amount of time to work together. We know how much you can take. We don’t rush you. But, we do push you. We’re like

a personal trainer

Styling sessions include de-cluttering, organizing, re-purposing and re-arranging furniture, artwork, accessories and other items you already own, to optimize your space and achieve YOUR desired ambience and aesthetic.
